Ballarat Bowling Club was established in 1864, making it the oldest bowling club in Ballarat and the second oldest in Australia. The Club fields 4 divisions in the Ballarat region, including a division one side for the 2008/09 season.

The Club has 2 grass greens, one holding 10 rinks and the other 5 rinks. The greens were recognised as the best in the Ballarat region during the 2007/08 season, holding a premier division final and the division one grand final.
