The Ashgrove Bowls Club is situated alongside various other sporting fields surrounded by tree covered hills and with sweeping views of the Taylor Range. It is extremely quite, with no passing traffic.

The club offers top quality greens, full bar facilities, a function room that is in great demand for private and community group functions. Full catering facilities are available for functions. The club conducts several social functions for members and friends per year.

The club has almost two hundred members, both ladies and men. New members are offered free coaching to enable them to participate in social bowls as quickly as possible. A set of bowls is also provided until the members can purchase a set of their own. The club expects to open a Junior Bowling Acadamy  by July 2008.
